Terms of service

Thank you for choosing Dutch Language Services for your Dutch language learning journey. To ensure a smooth experience for all students, please review the following payment terms and conditions:

Billing Cycle

You will receive an invoice after each month of lessons. The invoice will detail the number of lessons taken and the total amount due.

Payment Due Date

Payment of the invoice is due in full before the end of the month in which the invoice was issued. For example, if you receive an invoice in September, the payment is due by the end of September.

Payment Methods

To provide convenient payment options for students in both Switzerland and the Netherlands, we offer the following methods:

  • Students in Switzerland: Payment can be made via a Twint payment request. The request will be sent with the invoice.
  • Students in the Netherlands: Payment can be made via an ING bank request.

For students living in other countries, separate payment arrangements will be made.

Late Payments

If payment is not received by the end of the month in which the invoice was issued, a reminder will be sent. Continued non-payment may result in the temporary suspension of lessons until the outstanding balance is settled.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these payment terms. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Attendance Policy

Dutch Language Services understands that life can be unpredictable. However, to ensure the best learning experience for all students and to respect the instructor's time, I kindly request your cooperation with the following attendance policy:

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible. This allows me to adjust the schedule accordingly and potentially offer the time slot to another student.

Late Cancellations and No-Shows

While I aim to be understanding, repeated late cancellations (less than 24 hours' notice) or no-shows may be subject to the following:

  • First and Second Instance: A reminder of the policy and the importance of providing timely notice.
  • Third and Subsequent Instances: You may be billed for the missed lesson.

    Emergencies

I understand that true emergencies happen. Please communicate with me as soon as possible if an unforeseen event prevents you from attending your lesson.

Communication

Open communication is key. If you foresee any scheduling conflicts, please let me know in advance so we can work together to find a suitable solution.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your commitment to attending your scheduled lessons helps us create a positive and productive learning environment for all.

By using my services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
